Funcom had two significant announcements about the very popular MMORPG, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. First, is thru an interview with Eurogamer. A recent extension pack is now being developed for the game. Before the year ends, the game will be released. Second, the Age of Conan will allow players to have free-to-play access for a restricted time. The new extension pack will be made known for the MMORPG this August at the GamesCon in Germany, based from an article on Blend Games. Funcom also announced that players with closed accounts on Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures may re-activate their accounts and may obtain two whole weeks of free-to-play package. Apparently, this is a promotional campaign scheduled to recover cast off players who left the game because of bugs and glitches that must be fixed by the company. Morten Larssen, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Funcom said that anyone who has inactive account who ever thought about giving it another try, this is their chance.
