MapleStory was initially initiated in South Korea on April 2003. It quickly become one of the most successful online games because of over 92 million registered accounts all over the world. In May 2007, MapleStory Europe was launched and gained more than 1.2 million registered players offering gamers an ability to play MapleStory in four different languages - English, German, Spanish and Dutch. MapleStory has over 1.2 million passionate players in Europe.
MapleStory Europe is expected to release on October 22. The new version will introduce Magatia, the residence of two rivaled alchemist groups Alcadno and Zenumist. Players need to solve various challenging single- and party quests in an attractive medieval town to analyze the commotion and to explain the mystery that lies beneath the forceful story. MapleStory will celebrate the traditional halloween. The bewildering and frightening pension of the former toymaker Prendergast (who used to be the happiest man on Maple World until... something horrible happened to him) will invite the players. According to Sung Jin Kim, Director at NEXON Europe, last September, they just added the Ariant map to MapleStory Europe. After a month, introducing another new map is a tough task.
